Husher L. Harris Sr. (President/CEO)Husher L. Harris, Sr. is a former (retired) senior Federal manager and State government executive with over 35 years of documented experience developing, implementing and managing innovative programs. Throughout his career he has managed health care delivery, veteran services, information technology and human capital management programs. He holds an MPA (Master of Public Administration) from the Key Executive Program of The American University, an MA in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of South Florida, and a Certificate in Chemical Dependency Counseling from Baltimore County Community College (BCCC). He is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) Maryland and a Certified Research Administrator (CRA).
Husher L. Harris II (Vice President/COO)Husher Harris II, is responsible for the day-to-day operations and administration aspects of Avaris. He is an experienced Supply Chain professional who specialized in ERP system implementation, Earned Value Management and Systems Interface Monitoring. He has worked for a number of DOD companies and contractors in a variety of positions. His roles have covered everything from SAP Business Analyst to Integrated Logistics Management. He holds two Bachelor degrees from Ohio University (BA Political Science/BSc. Communications) and a Master of Arts from the University of London (School of Oriental and African Studies). He currently lives in Owings Mills, Maryland with his wife Carmalita and daughter Brennan.
